I just upgraded to a 2006 GS300 AWD and a deal I could not pass up, now I have to part with my 2000 GS300 Platinum Series, 153K, millinium silver exterior, gray interior, fully loaded with every option except for Nav and Nakamichi stereo I could get back in August of 2000 when I bought it brand new.

This car has been METICULOUSLY maintained (spotless inside + outside), oil changes every 3K, Garage kept, and a non smoker. Driving was mostly highway with some local.

All records kept, all services were done by lexus/toyota techs, current Michelin Pilot Sport tires have close to 77K on them and have tread left for another 20-25K (that is to show you that i do not drive the car hard). I do the tire service of balance/rotation/alignment every 3-4 months at the local tire place here in MD. Carfax shows one accident but there was never an accident, I went through the insurance company to fix scratches on hood caused by an ice storm back in 2003. Car has not been modified in any way, all original parts. I did add an Infinity Bass Link in the trunk to add a little more bass to the premium sound system. I have replaced the front lights (work done by lexus dealer in MD) because they started getting hazy from the inside and added Piaa bulbs. I have replaced the head unit because pixels were going dead (remanufactured system came from Sewall Lexus), and armrest was replaced also because of ten years of elbow indentation (also bought from Sewall Lexus).

Inside is a 9.5, outside paint is a 8.5-9 (top of bumpers clearcoat is coming off a little bit and regular rock chips here and there that come with highway driving I have touched up, also windshield has a few starburst that have been filled in - it would pass MD inspection with its condition), mechanically car is a 9.5 (even the air and cabin filters were replaced every 3-4 months). Car drives like it did when new. I absolutely babied the car!!!

I have it here in the local papers and craigslist for $8K, but would accept $7500 because with the new one here tomorrow and only having one garage, I'd like for the old one to find a home ASAP. You really have to see this car to appreciate it!!!

Almost 77K and the Lexus dealer I just had my oil change at estimated another 20-25K left on them. Like I said I take it to the local National Tire and Battery (NTB) every 3-4 months for balance/rotation, and/or alignment if needed. I also check tire pressure every few weeks when car gets washed. I do not drive the car hard, especially when these tires where about $225 a piece, but that was back in the fall of 2005. I have had Pirelli's, Dunlop's, and the Goodyear GT+4 it came with from the factory and those lasted me like 35-40K, then the Dunlop's I got also lasted about the same and the last time I put on new tires was at 76K, now car has over 153K. A guy recommended these to me at a local Mr.Tires here in MD and I have been ecstatic with their performance. Michellin Pilot Sport A/S have been absolutely worth every penny. I actually had a guy locally looking at my car call me a liar and would not even come out to see the car because he could not believe the tire story, but I have all the paperwork to prove it. Actually I just wrote a testimonial for Michelin tires. I say this to show how great shape this car is in. Hopefully somebody/anybody knows of someone looking for this one of a kind of gently used 2nd generation Lexus GS. Also don't want the new GS and the old GS to fight!!! lol
