FS: 99 Lexus SC300
1999 Lexus SC300
Red Exterior/Tan Interior
26k on new motor, 182k on chassis
17” Mille Miglia wheels with Koyo Ecsta tires
Clear sidemarkers
I purchased this vehicle with a blown motor from a guy on Clublexus who is no longer a member. The vehicle was owned by his uncle. His uncle had brought the car in for an oil change, and in the process the mechanic inadvertently dropped a bolt in the sparkplug hole. The car was started, and thus the motor was destroyed. Insurance paid off on the vehicle and considered it junk due to the $8000+ to replace the motor.
After replacing the motor with a 26k mile motor (have receipt) the car was inspected and the title was returned back to a clear title. So the car has a free and clear title. Please remember, there was no damage to the vehicle aside from the motor, so it wasn't a "salvage." (Please don't confuse this with the ding that was on the pass door.)
Pros
The car has a motor with 26k, new motor mounts, spark plugs, battery. Everything works on the car. AC blows cold, and everything works as it should.
Cons
Drivers seat has some tears on the perforated insert and I have been quoted $200 to have the perforated insert replaced. The car had a scratch/ ding on the passenger side which I had fixed. I have pics to show how it was so you can see the extent of what was scraped on it. So, the pass side has been blended. The front bumper was also just repainted due to scuffs. I also have pics of that. The exterior is in ok shape, not perfect. I will get some better pictures after my bodyguy finishes wet sanding it. I just snapped these 2 with my phone. Also, battery was not secured properly and one of the pulleys hit it and some battery acid went over the PS reservoir. It is fine, but just wanted to be as up front as possible. Driver’s door interior upper window trim has the usual crack.

I will hopefully have them by Sunday.
And to publicly answer a couple of PM's I have received. The title is clear and clean. Unless you were to check the Carfax/Autocheck you would never know about the history of it. In an effort to be honest I provided this information. You can get a loan for this car just like any other car, and can register it just like any other car.
At the end of the day, it kinda works out well as you get a new 26k motor
Regards,
Jonny
