Didn't even realize people commented. But YYABC I know that the bumpers and body are different but thats a huge noticeable difference. There is no way that left the factory that way.

Only reason I commented is I hate when people are dishonest about their cars when selling them. I am by no means saying this seller is dishonest, but I have never seen one that noticeable. My mom has a 92 Pearl White SC400 and it still matches perfectly. Just my opinion.

If you go look at any dealer, especially Toyota or Lexus. You will see a difference in the color. My dad has been painting for Toyota for 27 years and people ***** all the time about the colors not matching, so he takes them to look at a new car on the lot and boom, they say sorry. Plastic and Metal DO look different with the same paint, just harder to tell on certain colors. IMHO silver is the worst when it comes to that.
Anyways, GLWS!

the variation in color is due to the way the metallics lays down or stands up...the factory runs the car in the bake cycle, they heat the parts (metal and plastic) at different temperatures since metal can withstand higher heat than plastic...another cause of the color difference is static electricity...flakes will lay down different is there is heavy static present...also, some factories paint the body of the cars, and a smaller plant may handle all the bumpers/claddings so temperature at which it was sprayed can cause a difference in color...lots of things to consider...lexus/toyota are notorious for having huge color variation issues...
and yes, silver does show the worse because its basically just metallic and no pigment...and you'll see a variation in some solid reds due to breakdown of pigments from uv...
