1994 LS400 F/S in NYC
Up for sale is my 1994 Lexus LS400. I have owned this car for the past 3 years. Bought it from the 2nd owner who bought it pre owned from Ciasulli Lexus. I have all maintenance records including all oil change records since I bought it from the previous owner and also the maintenance records from the previous owner also. The Pre-owned certificate from Ciasulli lexus is available and will accompany the vehicle. I have only used high mileage synthetic oil since I have had the car, always changed oil on time and at the same shop. Oil change receipts accompany the car.
Car comes with 2 keys. One key has a remote transponder that will open and close the doors on the car. The 2nd key is just a spare with no remote transponder. Both keys are original to the car with Lexus logo.
There are absolutely NO check engine, airbag, abs, etc... lights on at the dash cluster. Everything is working as it should.
Exterior has cosmetic flaws, passenger side fender, and 2 doors have minor dents. The rest of the car is clean and has minor scratches. Picture of dents are available.
Trunk has full size spare with a good tire, original lexus tools and first aid kit. 6 disc CD changer is in trunk, disc magazine is in the changer.
Tan leather is in good condition, no rips on any of the seats. Seats do have cracks, it a 16 year old car, so there will be cracks, the interior is a 7-7.5 out of a 10. Heated seats work perfectly in the winter time. Interior has 4 original floor mats to car, front two have lexus logo embroidered in it. Good luck finding a first generation LS400 with original floormats...
Timing belt, water pump, cam seals, crank seal, serpentine belt, timing belt tensioner, and serpentine belt tensioner were replaced at 180,000k (summer of 2009)
Front and rear brake pads and rotors. Transmission mount, battery, Upper control arms were replaced this summer.
Tires have 50% tread life left on all 4. Car is on original alloys in great condition with no curb rash and all 4 center caps in great condition. Original lexus wheel lock are still on all 4 wheels, wheel lock key will accompany car upon sale.
Air conditioning has been re-charged (summer of 09) and is blowing cold as it should on all speeds.
Power steering pump is slowly on it way out. It works as it should, but sometimes can be a little tough. If you put the AC on it will allow the issue to go away temporarily until you take the AC off.
VIN # JT8UF11E6600211327
Mileage - 228,000
Exterior Color - Emerald Green (looks like black from far)
Interior Color - Tan Leather
Upgrades are listed below.
Complete wood trim kit installed on interior of car.
Headlights and fog lights have been updated to 8,000k HID's in perfect working order. ($400)
Rockford Fosgate P300-1 Amplifier -300 watts ($190.00) under drivers side seat
Rockford Fosgate P21-110 Subwoofer ($185.00) in trunk
Farenheit T-7017hr - TV Monitors mounted in each headrest ($150.00 each) video signal is fed through Jensen head unit.
Jensen VM9512 Head unit with 7 inch flip out TV.($400.00) Additional Jensen Navigation unit also installed into head unit ($150.00)
* Media hub is installed in glove box that allows audio, video and USB imput into the Jensen head unit.
* There is a IPOD cable in the glove box that connects to the Jensen head unit that will pull up all your music on the 7 inch jensen touch screen.
Original radio willl accompany car (Nakamachi CD player with 6 disc changer in trunk) all in working order if you choose to install the original radio. Original radio also has wood trim kit installed on it.
Now for the cons...it's a 16 year old car, so let's face it... there are going to be things wrong with it... i would not hide any of the issues from anyone, your buying a used car, so you should know what your getting...
The climate control LCD's are burnt out and were never replaced (typical problem with the LS 400's from this year).
The Jensen Flip out Head unit it stuck in the open position. This does not affect the unit other than the screen can't go back in. Everything on the unit still works perfectly. This can be fixed for under $80 by Jensen. The only issue with this is that it's a little challenging accessing the climate control buttons behind the 7 inch screen. I managed to work my way around it...
Front end links will need to be replaced ($80) in parts and ($40) in labor to change. Minor clinking and clanking noise on really bumpy roads...
The drivers main window switch cluster has issues. It will drop all 4 windows but can only pull up the drivers side window from the cluster. All the windows on the car work perfectly from their respective switches on their doors. The 3 other windows just can't be pulled up from the drivers side main switch.
The power antenna is broken and is stuck in the down position and will not come up.
Small crack on dashboard above center console, an auxilary GPS fell down by accident one day.
Hood struts need to be replaced. Hood will stay up for 5-10 minutes on own then start to slowly close on it's self.
The gas gauge take a while to give a accurate reading (about 30 minutes after car is running).
I AM NOT REMOVING ANY OF THE INSTALLED TV'S OR STEREO SYSTEM COMPONENTS FROM THE CAR TO REDUCE THE PRICE... EVERYTHING LISTED GOES WITH THE CAR. ABSOLUTELY NO EXCEPTIONS.
Price is $3,500 firm with everything.... Pictures are available upon request...
I can be reached at (518) 338-7187 or asingh@carsonoptical.com

I just can't believe I am selling my car for the price I dropped down to.... I spent 2 years upgrading audio/video and repairs to get a great daily driver..... and nobody is interested even at $3,000....It's so funny cause my new LS does not run as good as my 94...
I wish I someone was offering a LS at the price I am selling at with everything included when I was buying my car.... I would have jumped on it....
Guess that's the way it goes.....
Good Luck with your sale though LiCelsior...
