'93 SC400 w/ mods, 108k, $7k obo
Hi All,
I am selling my car and wanted to give CL members first dibs. I have enjoyed driving and modding this car, but we're about to start a family and need to get a family car. My in-laws are getting a new car, and selling us theirs, so that's why we are selling now- not because there is anything wrong with it. It runs great and has lots of life left in it. Here are the specs:
The A/C was just replaced two years ago.
Brand new leather seats from leather seats.com 2 years ago. The leather is custom installed and has perforated inserts to add a sporty look.
It also has the 97+ SC400 bumper and side skirts along with a griffin emblem (from the Toyota Soarer).
The car has 17” Enkei Zoku wheels with good tires with lots of tread remaining.
The car has been dropped 1” with Eibach springs, has a strut bar, high flow K&N air-intake, Pro-1 dual Exhaust, replaced lower-control arm bushings, had the brake calipers painted black, and Millenium Tint of the darkest legal limit.
On the inside, there is a Kenwood eXcelon custom installed stereo with plexiglass rim around it enabling a custom fit of the stereo. It has a connector for an iPod.
The backlighting for the A/C has been turned blood red to match the stereo.
There is a built in Escort Passport 8500 radar detector with mute button below the steering wheel.
There is a Clifford Solaris alarm with auto start, smart windows (can roll windows up and down with remote), and many other features.
The car has not been run hard, been babied, and I am the second owner. I bought the car in 2002 with 39k miles, and I have all service records since the car was made. The car has been kept in a garage until two years ago. The only imperfections in the car are a 2” area on the driver’s rear quarter panel that shows where a car backed into it and we knocked the dent back out. The gas gauge needle LED just went out last month, but can be fixed from lextech.org for $99. The gauge still functions and can be read, but without the light on it, it makes it a little difficult to read in certain lighting. It gets about 17.8mpg with city driving.
I will get a picture of the drivers side rear quarter panel damage soon.
I would prefer to sell to someone within 3 hours, or you could come to Birmingham, AL to pick up, or meet in the middle. I am a little negotiable on price. Asking $7500. Please email vicarbo@gmail.com with offers.
Thanks!
Richard

Wow, very clean looking SC. Love the new leather interior!
What do you mean by 'rader deterctor below the steering wheel'? You mean inside the steering wheel telescope? Or just attached to the bottom outside part? I've always wanted to install/hide a radar detector somewhere in the dashboard area to maintain the stock look..
