Lexus GS400 $6200!
PRICE DROP! $6000 OBO
New Inspection good through 2013!
Just did an oil change - Mobil 1 Synthetic and Mobil 1 Oil Filter.
I'm interested in selling my 1998 GS400. It has 144,000 miles on it with the timing belt and water pump just replaced in the last 3k miles. The car is in fantastic condition and drives well. It is entirely stock, except for a Tanabe Hyper Medallion exhaust.
There is nothing wrong with the car mechanically, im just trying to get into a different car, or possibly just a gs300 or 400 in a different color. Hopefully someone has been looking for an Antique Bronze Mica GS and will jump on this!
Just to fully disclose everything, the power tilt on the steering wheel doesnt work, but i had the automatic retract setting turned off so it stays in the same position. Telescope works perfectly. There is one 3" scratch near the drivers door and theres a hole in the drivers seat leather. Again, nothing is a big deal, i just want to be totally upfront with possible buyers. Also, all original vin tags are present on all body panels.
Price: $6000 OBO or trades!

Im not in any rush to sell it. In all honesty, its a perfect running car and has no issues, i just know that i enjoy changing cars frequently so i wanted to get it up and see if there was any interest. In all likelihood it will probably still be for sale at the beginning of the new year. That is, unless someone else finds it and wants it now. Im not sure if that will happen, as i know the twenty and thirty year olds that are buying these cars arent so keen on the color, but who knows!
As for the power perspective, i think between a gs300 (or even an es) and the gs400 is very minute. If you put the gas to the floor, sure its going to be faster, but in day to day driving, its just a very serene drive, the car does what its supposed to do and you dont really realize the massive amounts of power until you push it.
