1993 GS300 for sale $900
I want $900 or best offer takes it. I'm selling it at that price because the transmission is acting up. I talked to two mechanics, one told me the trannny is good but the problem is with the tranny pump . The other one told me it was the tranny filter (I hate when mechanics give different diagnosis ) . Before that happened, the car used to take me back and forth from Rhode Island to Pennsylvania with no problems (221k). It has a new radiator, brakes, caliper, ignition cap, spark plug wires, spark plugs. Everything was done in August & September, I have all the receipts for the work put on to it.
I was going to fix it but I'm paying for college and I can't be expending money on anything else but my tuition and my bills. Plus I have another car, too. Anyone interested?

It's a common problem with the GS300, drop the pan off the tranny and put in a new filter! The pump is all mechanical, simple in design, and very stout; I would doubt a pump actually goes 'bad', but I can totally dig the clogged/dirty filter causing your problems, it jacked up our tranny. Take 30 minutes and spend $20 to throw in a new filter...if it doesn't fix it you're only out $20.

keep the car and change the filter... look up the .pdf gs300 manual in search. its on this site here....
for 20-30$ your problem may go away and you get to keep your car vs selling it for 900$, losing a means of transportation, the new owner puts in a new 20$-30$ filter, and sells the car for $3,000.
How would you feel after the latter of the 2?

Yeah, I definitively was thinking about changing the filter ($20-$35 down here) but I'm always on campus. That's why I haven't change it yet.
Kene, I would feel like sucker for a bit lol.
