Default FOR SALE: 1997 Lexus LS400 Coach Edition--127k miles

**********UPDATED!!!!!!!!!!! FIRST $4900 GETS IT!!!! CASH/CERTIFIED BANK CHECK ONLY!!!!!!!! MUST SELL BY THURSDAY!!!***********

Asking $5700! Contact amcdonal86@gmail.com!

1997 Lexus LS400 COACH Edition (only about 2000 made). Features 4.0L V8 (260hp/270lbft), automatic transmission, dual frontal airbags, dual side front airbags, cashmere beige exterior, tan Coach leather interior, heated and power front seats w/ driver memory, dual climate control, automatic tilt/telescoping steering wheel, heated mirrors, auto-dimming rear and side view mirrors, traction control system (TRAC), dual shift program logic, and keyless entry (two keys with fobs and a valet key included), power moonroof, and much more!

This car is in good condition and has been well maintained, with most records available. There is some expected wear, including some interior wear, door dings (only a few, and none bigger than a quarter and not too deep). The paint is still glossy and looks great. The car runs great mechanically--it runs strong and the transmission shifts very smoothly. This car has a lot of life in it--if well maintained, they can usually last past 300k miles.

I am offering it at $5700, but I am open to negotiation. Keep in mind that Kelley Blue book values this car at around $6200 for private party sale. I am selling it because I just started a new job and am purchasing a newer vehicle.

Cash/certified check from a major bank only. Please do not hesitate to ask me any questions! Thank you!

Thanks. I have tried to be honest in the ad--the car is not mint, but it is very very good, especially when I get it all cleaned up (which is at least once every two weeks). There is definitely some minor interior wear and a few dings that are difficult to show in photographs.

By the way, I just got a new battery on it today and new hood struts are going on tomorrow.

I will also be getting a fresh Virginia State Inspection, which it should have no trouble passing.

Not a bad deal? Are you kidding me?
Look at the maintenance history on it. I work at Lexus and half of the performed maintenance stuff on his list with labor will cost more than his asking price for the entire car.

This is an UNBELIEVABLE deal... yeah that's a better word for it. Most LS's you would find in this price range are dirty and unmaintained. This is a steal!

I would call that pure insanity. I wish we had deals like this here in IL! If I was in the market for an LS400, I would so buy this right now!

Well, I sold it for $4800. Carmax was offering $4500.

The buyer didn't seem to appreciate what a steal the car was. Oh well.

Thank you to Clublexus.com, this is definitely the BEST Lexus forum on the internet!

Thanks! I fell in love with a Jaguar.

While not as refined as my LS was, I feel like it has a soul!
