Today I am selling my GS430. It was purchased certified preowned from Lexus in 2004. The car is currently at 174k miles, most being highway miles. All scheduled services (50k, 100k, etc.) have been done, through a Lexus dealership. Oil is changed ritually with fully synthetic. Fluids are frequently checked and changed as needed. Car has minor wear on the leather as well as some minor cosmetic damage (seen in pictures) The engine and transmission function perfectly as they should. Car does flash the infamous VSC on/off light w/ a CEL. This is typically seen with these models but does not effect performance, just needs a ECU flash. This car is road ready, clean title, clean history, clean carfax. Im looking to get $7000 OBO for the car.

Is there any rust on the car?

 

Not to crap on your thread, but this is not infamous. It's an issue with your car. Furthermore, an "ECU flash" is not some magical fix all the problems procedure. You likely have one or more bad VSC sensors, indicating your car doesn't have stability control currently.

Furthermore, CEL lights don't come on because they feel like it. They come on because one or more sensors is reporting a problem.

While most buyers on CL are well-educated enough to pick this kinda crap out, you still shouldn't put it out there.
