yes the title issue was a heart breaker for me as well when I first found it. the hood and bumper does not align perfectly, I brought this up when I got my hood and bumper repainted. here's the issue with body shops I have discovered with this car, once they realize it might have been in accident before they will always blame imperfections on that reason and say it can't be fixed or it will be very expensive and not worth the money for a 13 year old car. i'm not knowledgeable about car structures so I had no argument. i believe the airbag was deployed too but the airbag light is not on. I changed the steering wheel (i have the original with airbag as well, great condition if anyone wants it) and that did not affect the airbag light issue as well. i'm not sure if they work but if they were deployed i know it cost a lot of get the system running again so my money is that the bags don't work. once again i can only vouch for my ownership but not prior ones. i didn't get a chance to get the car serviced this weekend but plan on servicing this week. I will fix the issue before I sell it. I believe the fix will run me only about $300. As of now, I'm treated this car as I still will have it for a few more years. I will be very upfront with this car as I know how much I put into it. I used to enter car shows with my first car I had in college so I'm used to spending and babying my cars.

when i heard/saw that it was salvaged/rebuilt title that was a heart breaker!
i think it was a rear end accident of the front? the airbags looks deployed (still work?). the hood/fender and front bumper doesn't line up quite perfectly (like stock). the paint or orange peel i'm not really too concerned of, not even the scratches and dings.
none the less, the car is rare and pretty sweet! did you get the starter issue fixed? thanks for being up front about the car eugene! seem like a great seller!

i wouldnt make that big of a deal, if you like the car buy it, ive bought tons of salvaged cars in my lifetime, loved everyone of them, didnt give me hardtime or wore any much different that clean titled car
as matter of fact i have a '02 is300 5spd car that ive bought salvaged, fixed her up and good as new,
lexus parts are pricey doesnt take a whole much to total them
