Yeah, that's pretty much what I use it for, a weekend ride. The car has been in a garage every night of its life, its a babied ride for sure.

You remember the black one huh, I loved that car too. I sold that one to a buddy of mine in. He came back in town recently and stopped by, the car is completely ragged out now. Its a damn shame, the car was stupid clean when I sold it. I hated to see it in that condition!

Thats funny....pre garage days when I had a town house. Looking at that now, I cant belive I even had my cars sitting outside in that weather.

I took the trunk set up half way out to mount an enclosed battery box thats race spec with a disconnect. Im putting it back together this weekend, but I should have pics floating around the forums. I will search them out.

If this car came with black interior I would take it off your hands. No lie. So hard to find something with black interior... "/

you can find a full black interior pretty easy for these cars. i wouldn't let that stop you from buying it.

Interior swap is cheap and shouldn't be your deciding factor on this one of a kind.

Take a look at the engine bay again. Now that is BEAUTIFUL

If the interior is stopping you from buying, then this is not the car for you.

Im not meaning that in a rude way, just saying........

This is a 600 plus rwhp car with nothing but high dollar items on it...I wouldnt care if it had no interior!

Don't meant to crap or needlessly bump your thread, but personally as a buyer If I'm spending $25k for this I'd expect it to have at least most of what I'd want out of a perf-lux sedan. I have the funds to buy the car -- hence why I posted (I can verify this with you) but I'd rather stop buying parts and building (which is what the buyer of a car like this is looking for). Swapping interiors never comes out 100% -- been there done that.

GLWS.

Ok, I rarely respond to things like this, but I will this time.

personally as a buyer If I'm spending $25k for this I'd expect it to have at least most of what I'd want out of a perf-lux sedan
like I said before, if the interior color is whats stopping you, then this is not the car for you........so we agree on this.

I have the funds to buy the car -- hence why I posted (I can verify this with you)
IM not sure why I would care since this is not the car for you?

I'd rather stop buying parts and building (which is what the buyer of a car like this is looking for
This is where you start to **** me off....

If youre going to make comments on someones for sale thread, make sure they are correct comments. The fact that you say that a buyer for this car is looking to buy parts and build is a stupid *** statement. There is nothing left to build on this car.......period!

The fact that you are looking for a black interior does not qualify this car as a "project" car for a buyer.

No need to respond.....

I hate to be the guy that cares about gas millage, but I'm afraid I drive a lot. I would be using this car as my DD, and I am comparing it to an E63 or M5. The E63 is right at my limit (15mpg), but the M5 is unacceptable (13mpg). Oddly enough I am also looking at a GS450h, which is great on gas. I currently drive a 2002 GS430 as my DD and the wife has a Range Rover (I think about 1mpg?). I am trying to convince myself that a TT GS4 would be a great DD, but it might be a pipe dream.

What do you think the estimated hwy mpg is?

Is the hood vent necessary?
