FS: 2001 Lexus GS300 Silver 152k miles $6500
Up for sale is my 2001 Lexus GS300. I have owned this car for the past 3 years and it has been great to me. I am selling it to move on to a slightly bigger vehicle. However, it still has a lot of life left in it for someone. I am located in a suburb 20 miles south of Cleveland, OH. Looking to get $6000 obo.
The car is a nice silver with a grey cloth/suede interior (which is rare in the Lexus world for some reason). Interior is in decent shape, small stains in the carpet here and there. Seats are clean. Non-smoker car while I owned it. No burn holes that I could find though, no odors, etc. Very roomy inside, carries 4 6 foot tall adults comfortably. A/C blows ice cold, heat works great. Everything inside works. All 4 windows are auto up/down. 2 Keyless entry remotes, as well as valet key. Has the home port (built in garage door opener). 6 disc in glovebox cd changer. Etc etc etc. Well optioned Lexus.
I have kept up on regular 3000 mile oil changes, running Mobil 1 synthetic. Along with routine maintenance, here is a list of parts that have been replaced recently:
Timing belt and waterpump were replaced @ 100k miles
Driver side rear wheel hub assembly (bushings were making noise, had to replace whole piece).
Both front tie rod ends
Rear swaybar bushings
All 4 brake calipers
Front & rear brake pads (within last 5k miles)
Front o2 sensor
(I'm sure I'll remember more later..)
Modifications:
HID lights in the stock housings
All interior lights converted to white LED's
Stock rims are painted black (a bit poorly, whoever did it did not prep the rims and car washes have stripped some of the paint off, see pictures)
Windows are tinted all the way around. 30% on the front windows, 5% everywhere else. Really helps with keeping you cool in the hot summer months.
Now on to the bad:
The paint is far from perfect. From 10 feet away it looks good. Overall I'd rate the body condition at a 6/10. Never been in any accidents though. Up close there are many rock chips, small scratches, etc. Also the front bumper is cracked near the bottom lip from a run in with a raccoon. This also broke the passenger side sidemarker lens. I will include the stock sidemarkers if I can locate them in the garage. A new set of clear ones are $20 on ebay. There is a ding on the roof that has been there since I got the car. Small chip in the windshield, has not turned into a crack in the past 3 years. This car was my daily driver (40 miles a day) for a long time. The previous owner(s) probably used it in the same manner. The passenger front speaker cuts in and out on very bumpy roads. I know I'm nit-picking here, but when buying a car online the less surprises the better.

Updated pics: Stripped black paint off the wheels.. looks much better IMO
