Just finished this swap 2 months ago and Im in the market for a Supra now.
The car is a 98 GS300 with a Legit Aristo 2JZGTE VVT-I swap. I have a fairly decent write up on it in the 2GS performance section.
Ill do the Con's first.
Color is Cinnabar pearl. Could use a respray.
Needs New front and rear bumper. They are both on the car but need to be replaced.
FMIC looks crooked in the picture because I didnt have the bolt installed. I was too excited to get a pic of it installed. The second bolt is installed and it is completely straight!!
Now the pro's
2JZGTE VVT-I swap. It was a plug and play swap, and I even ran the 1 wire to get the tack working!
New MK4 Supra throttle cable
Full 3in stainless exhaust.
Autobahn88 GS300 BIG FMIC
Aristo Fuel pump assembly
New fuel return line
New wind shield
New rack and pinion w/ new bushings
New lower ball joints
New/refurbished steering rack
VIP window visors
VIP front grill, the stock one is on in the pictures. I still have that one as well on my parts shelf.
New clock spring
New front calipers and pads.
New 19in Toyo Proxy 4's. Rim size is 9x19 front, 9.5x19 rear
Autometer Boost gauge mounted in a-pillar pod. Light bulb matched to same color as cluster gauge.
All new fluids. Correct Toyota Red coolant, Correct Toyota type 4 ATF, Mobil1 full syn oil. Correct Toyota Red power steering fluid.
New 8k Iceberg Blue HID's
I did all the work on this car with the exception of the welding because I cant weld. I did not take any short cuts on this swap because it was an expensive one. The worst thing about this swap is the S13 power steering resivior I had to use. Lexus wants too much for one. $275 I just cant see my self spending that much on a container....Im sure there are good used ones out there for much cheeper!
Interior:
The interior is in fairly good shape. The front seats have no rips in them but they do show signs of their age. Center arm rest has some cracks where your elbow rests but, its not torn through. Previous owner must of had sand paper elbows....lol
Rear seats and rear arm rest are in very good shape!
Carpets are in good shape as well.
Exterior:
Over all the body needs some love. Paint, front and rear bumper, if you are super picky. Never been in an accident, clean WA title.,
Engine:
Basically stock with the exception of the exhaust and FMIC. It's at 11 psi and it runs great!! No leaks, sputters, or shakes of any kind.
Oh and no fuel reading issues that a lot of members are having! Aristo Fuel pump assembly fixed that!!!
Im asking $11,000 OBO. Please be nice and dont t low ball. Ill break even with $11,000 on this car. Car was $4800 swap was $6400.
If you have any questions or would like to know anything about the car you can reach me at 360-632-2715. Or just Pm me!!
The Build thread is in the 2GS Performance section. The title is "98 GS300 Aristo Swap". Thank you!!
