FOR SALE
1992 Lexus SC300 5-speed
219,950 miles
VIN: JT8JZ31C2N0006649
Color: Diamond Pearl White (original paint)
$3,000 OBO
MANY MORE PHOTOS in my Garage and on my Facebook page: http://www.facebook.com/anne.haight.5
Vehicle is OEM / stock with these exceptions:
- Eibach spring kit and Tokico shocks, which has the effect of lowering the car by 1". Improved handling and less body roll.
- Aftermarket head unit (Pioneer AVH-P3200BT). OEM head unit and CD changer ARE GONE and not available.
- New aftermarket floormats, manufactured by Milliken. Equal to or better than OEM.
I have owned the car since 2002, and I have receipts/documentation for work performed on it during my ownership, including parts replacement. Service has been performed mainly by my local reputable shop (who have taken care of my cars for 15 years), and Stevens Creek Lexus. Major and minor maintenance services have been performed as scheduled. It has been my daily driver for 10 years. Of note:
- Driver's side window regulator
- Clutch
- Alternator
- Wiper motor
- Telescoping antenna motor (I have an extra new antenna as well)
The car does have 2 significant issues at this time:
1. Leaking windshield along the top edge. The leak is severe. It was present when I bought the car and has become much worse. Paint is bubbling up at the top edge and there are indications of rust beneath. The extent of this damage is UNKNOWN. It may be minor. It may be a major expense to repair. Caveat emptor!
2. Headlights have been removed, disassembled, cleaned and resealed (by me). The driver's side one has a damaged mount point (so there is 1 screw not holding it) and it still has condensation issues. The lights both work (recently put new bulbs in them in fact).
Currently the wiper fluid reservoir is also leaking and should be replaced.
Clean CarFax and clean AutoCheck. Clear title. No problems passing California emissions tests. It was never in an accident while I owned it (unless a close encounter with my garage frame counts), and I was told it was never wrecked by the 2 prior owners. I have never had any issues with the engine or transmission. I always put full synthetic motor oil in the car (Royal Purple, Red Line, Mobil 1, Amsoil) and used a Mobil 1 filter.
The paint has the expected level of chips, dings, scratches and other normal wear and tear. There is a dent in the driver's side rear wheel well and the side mirror housing is cracked. The dent is not particularly conspicuous (see pictures) and the side mirror still works fine, and the damage is only apparent from underneath.
Car also comes with a 2-volume set of factory service manuals (the big expensive ones).
PLEASE ASK QUESTIONS as I am probably leaving out a lot of info that isn't coming to mind right now! Interested parties are encouraged to visit the car in person since pictures don't always tell the whole story.

I'll see if I can contact folks on here who can vouch for me. If any of you guys are reading this thread (Nilo?) can you speak up please?
Edit: This is my original account here: https://www.clublexus.com/forums/mem...laegidius.html
If anyone would like information or photographs proving that this is, in fact, me and that this is my car, just let me know.

The car has been sold, thanks everyone. It went to the second person who expressed interest about it to me, and it took a while to work it out. If you live in Long Beach, look for it on the road there.
