I am posting for trade my 2002 Lexus LS430. I purchased this car back in May shortly after I sold my built/boosted Civic. I love the car to death, but the VIP scene is a little dull for my taste. I'm a more shifting gears type of person. The car was purchased with 182k miles from the original owner (elderly business man that upgraded to a LS460) Carfax does say I'm the 3rd owner because the gentleman added his wife to the title sometime during the ownership. It currently has 200,220k miles on it and will not go up anymore besides the occasional drive around the block.
Within the past 6 months I have replaced the following:
Valve cover gaskets & tube seals
NGK Iridium plugs ($85!!)
Kicker Subwoofer
Transmission Fluid
Differential Fluid
Trunk shocks
Cabin filter
Tires flipped & rebalanced
I've always used Mobil 1 Full synthetic 5w30 and only purchased parts from Charles Barker or Sewell Lexus.
The original owner had all the following done sometime around 120k:
Timing belt & water pump
Starter
Intake gaskets (because of the stater)
8/11 Interstate battery
3rd brake light replaced
Tilt steering was repaired @ Charles Barker Lexus (normal Lexus problem)
& of coarse normal oil changes were always documented and were normally done. I have all the paperwork for all the services, and Carfax will say the same up to 119k miles. That's when the original owner went from Charles Barker Lexus to Beach Automotive. (like I said, I have receipts for it all) Since I have receipts for the oil filters I have purchased from Charles Barker, I do them all myself.
Everything in the car works as it should, the only thing that sometimes gives me a little problem is the sunglasses holder. Sometimes the button will stick after you release your glasses. Just press it again and it will unstick itself. Some people wouldn't even note that, but that's just how **** I am. Oh yeah, the rotors need to be resurfaced or replaced. They are a bit warped, but it has plenty of front pad left. (general maintance, not really broken or a negative from my point of view)
The car is fully loaded minus everything that comes with the Ultra Luxury package. No fridge and no A/C seats but it does have heated seats all around, heated and power folding mirrors, power sliding A/C vents, auto leveling HID head lights, vacuum sealed trunk and power everything, with navigation.
The exterior of the car is in good condition (6.5/10) Reason being is because I accidently swiped a mailbox. It destroyed the passenger's side mirror and removed some paint from the quarter panel. But luckily it didn't physically damage the quarter panel. The previous owner did say he was backed into while the car was parked at the airport one time. I'm pretty **** about cars and either they did a damn good job of blending or the whole car was resprayed. Either way, it was not documented in Carfax. No accidents or fender benders. The front end has some rock chips on the bumper and hood, but not drastic. The car has been claybarred, and waxxed three times since I purchased it, buffed once. The car has ZERO door dings but it does have 1 scratch on the passenger's rear door approx. 3" long. Needs new tires, tires are shot from when the car was lowered.
The interior is fair. Carpet and mats are clean but the seats are showing their miles. Plus the previous owner allowed his Golden Retriever to go for a ride quite a bit. Everything was cleaned up the best possible, but there is only so much I could do.
Other things about the vehicle:
LED interior bulbs & license plate
Kicker 8" subwoofer in the factory spot
Rick @ Dent Technology Inc. has been all around the car, the car's body is dent free
Fenders are rolled by Stephen Knoop "WishIHadaSilvia"
Factory Lexus HIDs
Navigation
Ice cold A/C
Warm heat
Heated seats & mirrors
Memory seats
Tilt steering WORKS AS IT SHOULD! (normal Lexus problem)
Powered assisted trunk
The car overall runs FLAWLESS! I have no complaints. I use to drive it 50 miles everyday.
The pictures are from when the car was lowered, the car is now currently stock.
