1998 GS400 Low miles for sale
Hello all,
I have decided to put my 1998 GS400 up for sale. I will get pictures once I get it washed this weekend.
It is a 98 GS400, Antique Bronze Mica on tan, and it is a very nice combination. It currently has just under 68,000 miles, clean title in hand. I am the second owner, and have every single service record. This car has been over maintained. I purchased the car a few years ago and at the time it had 38k on it. I wanted a daily driver as I did not want to daily drive my 02 M5 anymore. I no longer have the M5 and I really don't need this car either, I am going to daily drive my M3.
I had my local Toyota/Lexus independent perform the timing belt (due to age) job and this July I had the 60k service performed including a flush (done the proper no pressure way) of the transmission with Toyota Type IV fluid. I also had the transmission pan replaced with a brand new OEM part as the Lexus dealer stripped the drain plug on a previous drain and fill. So it has new coolant (Toyota Red), new transmission fluid, new differential fluid, full brake flush done the proper way, and all the other good stuff. I put a new Napa high-end serpentine belt on it around 45k (the nice $50 one). At the 60k service a front brake job was performed, so it has brand new OEM pads and machined rotors. The rear brakes are at I believe 70-80% thickness per the report, basically still like new.
There are no modifications to the car, nor have there ever been any. For factory items it has the standard e-shift (which is great), factory rear spoiler, factory chrome 16 inch wheels with no curb rash, 6 disc cd changer, I don't think I am forgetting anything else.
Paint and interior are in great shape, a couple door dings and normal wear and tear, all said it is amazing for a 98 in my opinion. Interior is flawless, no tears, rips etc, and I condition and protect with Griot's regularly.
Please let me know ANY questions you may have. Based on KBB and how much I have into the car, I am very firm at 10,500. Otherwise I will keep the car as it is really a great car to drive. Thanks for viewing, and I will post pictures as soon as possible.
