1990 LS400 141k fs/ft $2500
For sale is a Mocha brown 1990 LS400 with 141k. Putting this ad up for my brother who drives it primarily.
History: This was my brothers second LS400 and I fell in love with it. I found this for my brother. Got it originally with 118k miles from a Volvo mechanic in Long Island about 3 1/2 years ago who took care of it meticulously. The mechanic had the timing belt and water pump replaced at 117k. Now the car has 141k and is a daily driver. My brother hates to get rid of it but due to the gas prices and his commute, it's taken a toll in his pocket and wants a 4cyl or a V6. That's why he's selling it. I tried to tell him otherwise but the commute in city traffic eats alot of gas for him.(I'd take it from him but I already own a 91 LS400 and live 1300 miles away now)
Good:
141k miles
Timing Belt/water pump changed at 117k.
Dash/speedo all work and light up(previous owner had that changed as well)
Clean interior with minor imperfections
Engine/Tranny in good shape
Front brakes replaced with slotted rotors and ceramic brake pads earlier this year
No leaks on power steering. (Used the tutorial on this site to plug the IAC valve and no leaks!)
Bad:
Rear brakes need to be replaced(after mechanic shop replaced the front ones, found out the rear set don't fit. So never returned them for the correct ones)
AC blows hot
About quarter size dent and some scratches on body from city parking.
