2jzgte vvti is somewhat hard to tuned, in my opinion. darn, i wish it was a non vvti phil and i'll be over this. to reach it's potential power close to 500hp, need to upgrade injectors and get a standalone ecu.
I've got new 650cc injectors I'll throw in for a steal I've heard both sides of the VVTi thing. Some tuners are more afraid others like it and say it gives better driveability with the higher spooling single. At any rate, the VVTi motor is a better match wiring wise for the 98 SC's which I why I went with it. Oh, I also have an idea for using the larger injectors with the JDM supra ecu and no piggyback. Just haven't had time to finish the last bit of work to test it.

What an SC, I keep coming back to this. Waiting on a new job to start, wish I was better off financially, I would have bought this in a second. I actually like the fact that it's a VVTI.
