a bit of history on this SC
I searched for almost a year before buying this SC.. to top that off, it took over a week of negotiation to assure the owner I was going to take excellent care of it..
Owner # 2 bought it with approx. 50k, an older gentlemen Doctor who has two practices, one in Palm Springs the other in Phoenix AZ. He commuted between so, most all the miles are freeway..
My intention was to make extensive modifications. Suspension, exhaust, brakes and possibly a 5 speed conversion. However, due to the low production numbers, near show room condition and inability to recoup what my investment would be, I have decided to let it go for either a rougher donor 98 or a 5 speed SC300..
Clean California Title with two Documented owners. I am technically the 3rd owner however, I have kept the title in the previous owners name as the registration was paid for the next year when I purchased it.. always garaged, nearly new condition, NO accidents, clean title. Meticulously maintained {all VIN# stickers}. Complete books and records. This SC400 drives flawlessly, every option works as it did off the showroom floor. NO modifications Never neglected or abused! The Interior is nearly perfect, the steering wheel doesn’t have one nick, non-smoker with no odors or stains of any kind! Paint does have some cracking and the front bumper was repainted

Price reduced to $5900
Shaking my head I have invested $4000.00 in the past year. Looking for some feedback. I understand the miles are high however, this SC looks like new inside and drives like it is new as well..
am I over pricing? I see 97 SC's and older with a bit less ,miles selling for the same price range..I don't get it..

Hey scEnforcer, thanks for the positive feedback..with production numbers so low, I thought there would be enough SC enthusiasts that it would sold quickly..I have invested almost my asking price in up-grades and repairs..Acknowledging the 181k on the odo, this SC looks showroom fresh..Thinking I invested to much to let it go..it's not breaking my bank to just keep it around..

You have a gorgeous and well maintained car, no doubt. And your asking price is more than fair. This car is interesting and appealing to a distinct group of enthusiasts and I am confident that the right one will come along. GLWS!

Been on the road and away from the internet
Sorry for the delay..Just bought a new RV and have been traveling..
Just had the entire front end rebuilt with Protane performance bushings..all four lower and upper control arms...
Needs a alignment, I will pm you my number
Pulled the entire front end off to replace all eight bushings..cost me over $1000.00
Not an easy job...professionally installed at a machine shop..Done right, drives like new
