2008 Lexus GX 470 SUV
High resolution pictures here. Here is the Craiglist post. The car is located just outside of Houston, Texas.
For sale is my 2008 Lexus GX470 SUV in Blizzard White with tan leather interior. The car has just under 65,000 miles on it. I'm a car guy and I take great care of my vehicles, and this Lexus is no exception. I'm only selling it because I have to; I planned to get rid of my VW diesel but got caught up in the emissions scandal. I need to unload a car, and unfortunately the VW is unsellable right now. Thus, my wonderful Lexus has to go.
This Lexus started its life in California and found its way to Texas. It has never seen snow. It has a clean title, clear CarFax, and impeccable service history (contact me for the complete service history since new). Brakes were done by Sterling McCall Lexus ~13K miles ago and are perfect. The Goodyear Wrangler All-Terrain Adventure With Kevlar tires have ~70% tread left and have been rotated every 10K since new in September 2014 (the car also has a matching full-size spare with no miles on it). Since September 2014 the oil has been changed per the factory recommended maintenance schedule with Pennzoil Platinum Ultra 5W-30 and a Purolator filter, and the differentials and transfer case are filled with Amsoil Severe Gear (only the best for my cars). Prior to then all regular maintenance was done by Lexus dealers. All service history records and receipts are available.
This Lexus is in perfect mechanical condition. These vehicles are bulletproof, and the Toyota UZ engine that this uses may be the most reliable engine ever made.
Aftermarket upgrades:
Factory options:
I have priced the car fairly as seen in the attached KBB value estimate: $21,750. This price is ~$2K cheaper than what a dealer would charge for the identical car.

- It has a few paint chips. I had the front bumper repainted about a year ago. You have to get close to notice.
- It probably needs a new battery soon.
- The leather isn't perfect, but in excellent condition for a car that is 8 years old and has 65K miles on it.
