Good morning Club Lexus members, I've been away from the forum for some time largely in part due to selling my GS430 a number of years back but have still lurked here and there. Anyway, up for your consideration before I place it on all of the other automotive sales sites (Autotrader, Craigslist, Ebay, etc...) is my mother's boyfriends 2008 Lexus LS460 with only 53K miles. He is the original owner, and it has been religiously maintained by Lexus of Englewood throughout his ownership. The reason for the sale is he has just taken delivery of a 2017 CLS 550 and this car needs to be sold. He is a retired engineer and since I'm the more savvy on the computer, I am listing it for him. There have been no accidents but in the interest of full disclosure, he did scrape against one of the parking poles within his complex garage. The damage was repaired by a reputable shop and the car still looks amazing. From my past history, you will see I have been vouched for by other forum members and nothing has changed on my end except I now drive different manufacturer vehicles which is the reason for my absence from the forum. More people would be more interested in this car if it didnt have the word "X This" on the license plate. LoL also I wish it didnt have a front license plate installed otherwise I might be interested.

I have no idea what you mean by this. It's a personalized license plate with sentimental meaning to the owner, that's it. What difference does it make what a license plate says as a gauge of interest in a potential purchase? If $2K was taken off of the price since a front license plate is such an issue would you be interested? If so, PM me and we can go from there.

What I said in previous post was not meant to offend you. That was not my intent. Its a really nice car your selling there and I am sure plenty of people will be interested in buying it.

Anyways a friend of mines had a car for sale on craigslist for a Corvette which still has the license plate which said "BRN OUT" the ad also said 4 new tires included. Needless to say that car did not sell. But once he removed the plate and reposted that ad he sold it the next day.
