Yesterday I was watching Mecum auto auction from Kissimmee Florida and a 2012 Lexus LFA was on the auction block .highest bid was $850,000 and it still didn’t need the minimum bid. Wow

Amazing to watch. Buncha ******* spending multiple millions on old junk Ferraris, and they can’t even scrape up a lousy million for the greatest car ever built.I think these guys know a great deal about the exotic car market — but they don’t know much about cars. Or care, beyond price & provenance.

Speaking of the LFA at Mecum, I filmed some footage of it on display. Quite disappointing that it didn't meet reserve. Let's not forget that Mecum charges 10% buyer fee on top - so say the reserve was at $900K, it would have been a cool $990K! Crazy to see the appreciation of value in the LFA, when initially they had problems selling it at $350K - $375K!
