I was looking throught the net recently, and saw that Toyota/Lexus gave the go ahead to what is known for now as the LF-A the 500hp F1 powered coupe, it is to debut at the 2007 Tokyo auto show to go on sale shortly there after in the $100k range. So where does that leave Acura's NSX??

I first read about Lexus giving the "green light" to the LF-A in this month's issue of RIDES magazine it was covering some recent auto show I can't remember which. It shows a picture of the coupe with a caption that said something like better start saving your aluminum cans because Lexus ok's the LF-A.
I was looking through google the other day at work and just typed in Lexus LF-A and then just looked at each of the sites and in one of them thats where I read about it's 2007 release and how Lexus wants to throw as much publicity at this car well before it's debut. I also stumbled upon the pics of the disguised IS460 being tested in Germany where the LF-A was also driven.

There was a thread on here about the LF-A doing laps at Nurburbring. Here's a link to the video of it put through it's paces. http://www.edmunds.com/insideline/do...ticleId=105484
I wouldn't be surprised to see it stick pretty close to the prototype.

I sure hope they stick to the prototype, I LOVE THE LOOK.
It's very Ferrari 550ish from the side![Thumb Up](https://www.clublexus.com/forums/images/smilies/thumbsup.gif)
Quite Lambo like from the rear![Thumb Up](https://www.clublexus.com/forums/images/smilies/thumbsup.gif)
And COMPLETELY LEXUS ORIGINAL IN THE FRONT!!

even though its all wrapped up in the edmunds video, look liek ot gonna be a nice looking car. what do they mean that it will be a low-volume flagship model/car? the LS430 wont be the flagship model of Lexus anymore?

I think Edmunds has their stuff mixed up. It would be difficult for Lexus to make a $100,000+ exotic sports car it's flagship and maintain the same customer base?

Sup, I'm not sure if you mean to keep that sig or not, but please remember:
Signature max sizes for images is 450 x 100 pixels. Your image is 509 x 275.

yea, the lights are too low. I'm pretty certain the production ones won't resemble the ones on the concept. at the current height, the LF-A probably could not pass State regulations.
the low placement of the lights is to make the hood and nose appear longer, thus creating a very distinct design direction.
