Spy Shots: LF-A Spyder!!!

I highly doubt the front end of this new super coupe will look exactly like the LF-A. Look at it, the LF-A barely has a front bumper.
And as far as the headlights go, yes it seems to be a little taller, but that could also be the way the camo was cut out. They maybe made the camo look like exact cutouts of the headlight, but they probably arent underneath. I'm not saying that I'm correct, but its a possiblity. The great lengths they go to fool people.

Are you saying their bread and butter cars (Camry, Corolla or IS) are seriously lacking as "cars"? What exactly would you improve in those cars (or whatever cars you are referring to as "bread and butter").
In fact the opposite is true here. Lexus have put enough into their bread and butter cars and need to focus rightly (as they are doing now) on cars such as the LF-A. I for one are eagerly anticipating the arrival of a Lexus Super car (even if I cannot afford one).

The front end, while not the best, IMO is not that bad...I've seen lots worse.
The red leather interior with the light blue exterior...now THAT has got to go. although that to me looks more like an artist's concept than a real vehicle photo.

The whole Lexus/Toyota culture is about safety and comfort and political correctness and minimizing legal liability. The engineers want to build a supercar but the management wants it to be politically correct and the lawyers will make it annoying. It will weigh too much, be too quiet, only offer an automatic transmission, and it will have the world's most intrusive traction control and stability control that you can't turn off. It's biggest innovation will be that it runs on only one cylinder on the highway so it makes more gas mileage, and you have to push "I Accept" every 5 mph you want to go above 65 mph. It's taking so long to build because they all disagree with each other about what the car should do/be and who will buy it. The lawyers and managers have neutered it so it can't offend anyone or hurt anyone or give anyone grounds to sue and now the marketers are telling them they have to slap a convertible on it or no one will buy it. Ask yourself, what kind of car company would only put a manual transmission in their least powerful sport sedan? Its the same car company that makes a convertible for geriatrics. The LF-A is going to be a huge dud.
