My mistake then. For some reason, the pictures of the 09 IS-F instrument cluster looked a bit different compared to the 07/08 model. It was probably just the lighting.

The car being tested looks like the same prototype they raced at the 24 hours of Nurburgring event, as it still features the race-spec wing and fuel nozzle at the side of the car.
There are some changes though, including that front air dam, the bulges on the front fenders, and some tape through-out the car that seems to be covering some changes.
There might possibly be some production bodywork hidden under the tape. Also very interesting that it was being tested alongside an IS-F, and not the usual Supra we see running around with it. Testing against the IS-F likely means the LF-A is undergoing final tuning and tweaking.
The other possibility is that Lexus is preparing the LF-A for another race, but there aren't any big races until next year.

"Yes, the LF-A has been cancelled and the project is dead"?
Stick to the facts, and not assumptions.
Toyota continues to test LF-A prototypes, and the LF-A is listed as an F model at the Lexus Japan website. Other than Toyota saying it directly, what more proof do you need that this is coming to production?

If you know anything about Toyota, then you know that they won't officially confirm the production car until just months before it actually comes out.

As we saw from another thread, the car isn't likely to be available until the END of 2010, that is over 2 years from now and will be a TINY volume car over $300K.
So really, why does anyone care what's happening right now?

Even the highest estimates right now say the car will be 225 -250K. There is no way it will be over 300K, as Toyota would price themselves out of the market.

Has there been a statement by Toyota Motor Corporation to the effect of:
"Yes, the LF-A has been cancelled and the project is dead"?
Stick to the facts, and not assumptions.

Don't know what you're getting all riled up about. What "assumptions" am I making? It was a simple question. A simple yes or no question in fact.
