Firstly I am not going to say where I got this information from , but lets just say this person is in the know when it comes to Lexus in Japan.
So I just got off the phone with him b/c I was inquiring about how long it will be before you can be put on the waiting list for when it arrives (no luck in that department
) and we ended up discussing the fact that people have been saying the LF-A will be going for a figure over $300K in other parts of the world. Well he would not give me a deffinate answer but suggested that the car will go on sale for about 15,000,000 to 20,000,000 Yen (At the current exchange rate that works out to about $150K-$200K)
Anyway , thats just some info from Japan.

I will tell you now , this guy has never given me wrong info to date. So I would say that this is the price the car will be.
And BTW, I have always been in on this car, I just love lexus and its quality, nothing compares.

I don't know what is going around within the NA lexus camp... But when I said that there was news of the LF-A selling for more than $300K he laughed and said that there is no way that it will go for that price. He said that it will be the most exclusive car in the Lexus line up to date but they do want to sell the cars so they are looking at the price that I stated before. $300K will not sell and that is what he told me.

I am going to unsticky this. The main reason is there are no updates and now its all speculation.
I will say I had a conversation today and the car seems to be put on hold for now. There was no definitive answer would they produce it or not.
