This will indeed be the greatest supercar from Japan ever, and it will be the only true supercar from Japan.
I will be stunned and amazed if the HP for the production car is over 600HP, and if the top speed is over 225 mph.

Lexus LF-A Too Hot to Handle (click for video)
The Lexus LF-A hasn’t been out for long but the yet-to-be-released super-spectacular performance car’s already catching on. On fire. Literally. The poor baby was spotted at Nurburgring, parked on the side, smoke billowing all around. No word on who was behind the wheel when the fire started but Toyota was supposed to have a group of Toyota big whigs (test drivers, dealers, executives) take the LF-A around Nurburgring. Toyota’s next-in-line CEO Akio Toyoda, the grandson of Toyota’s founder, was also set to take a lap or two around the infamous ‘ring.
Saw that vid yesterday... sketchy report though.....

And if only the Bugatti Veyron was $1mil...
I think the hellacious price tag (and rarity) will be part of the mystique, and will further exaggerate its demand and appeal.
Considering that the LF-A is gonna be a financial loss for ToMoCo, it will be best to be "profitable" with status and bragging rights.

I feel Lexus has the image and cache to sell this. They already have the dealer service and reputation. I don't see them having any problem selling this car.
People have asked or bished that Lexus isn't sporty. Well this is as sporty as it gets. This really can shake up Lexus staid image and get some press for them around the world.
I would think the expectation after this is people will want sportier cars from Lexus and this means 2IS-F, GS-F, LS-F, SC-F who knows.
Skys the limit!
