From what I understand the car is already sold out. Most of the larger U.S. dealers have accepted deposits to be put on the waiting list but they cannot "officially" accept them until Lexus allows them to turn in the names.
If the production run really is only 500 cars then I'm sure there are more than 500 pre-orders/deposits internationally.
The LF A was sold out before it was even on sale. Awesome, but sad.

Long wait finally over! Video of production LFA with full interior view!
