Nope. Skyline is the G35. GT-R is based upon a different body, this body was designed for a coupe in mind rather than a sedan body with two doors. The G35(Skyline) and GT-R chassis' are not the same.
I cannot stress this enough that the GT-R is not the successor to the Skyline GT-Rs.

It's ok though, no one listens to me. The magazines and spies keep saying Skyline as well probably because it has such a large "following" stateside.

Same platform.
GT-R is now Independant of the Skyline lineage.
I bet though, it will still be referred to as such for a long time.
Anyway, back to the topic. I bet the LF-A will come in at 3000lbs or under. Any takers?

I'll bet my girlfriend that it's over 3000lbs.

I don't have a girlfriend.

IF THE LF-A WEIGHS 2600lbs, I even say 2700lbs, I will sing "WE ARE THE WORLD" and post it on Clublexus.

The RX-8 doesn't weigh 2600lbs. There use of lightweight tech would be immense and the cost of this car around $500,000, unless Lexus eats the cost.

Considering this is a LEXUS. which means it will have tons of luxury and tech, it will weigh 3300lbs.

The 911 TURBO weighs 3500lbs.
So true. Cannot be a Lexus without some luxury appointments.

Default No glass roof on LF-A version 2

I noticed on a picture of the Lexus LF-A in Geneva that they've dropped the glass roof from the first concept.

Hopefully they have an option to lower the car similar to the Bugatti Veyron for better speed and what not

One thing it be sweet if its standard or optional for carbon-fiber mags. Also some huge brakes ceramic or carbon or wtv brakes that are good.
