Thanks. Your post would've been more helpful if it had included a link and pics though.

There is some clever disguise on this car. The entire rear looks to be fake but integrated nicely, and so does the front. The front headlamps are defintiely not real but do in fact somewhat fit in with the rest of the Lexus lineup. The front imo has too many unnecessary lines (while the two lines coming down from the headlamp look good, they look too busy and straight-edged to be "L-Finesse"). Hopefully we will see newer prototypes soon.

P.S. I can say that my IS shares parts with the LF-A, as in they have the same rearview mirrors :P

What's with Lexus and those gianormous barn-door sized exterior mirrors???

The press will kill this car if it doesn't have the handling, chassis tuning, steering feedback that the competition already has in truck loads.

Keeping my fingers crossed!

I agree with your observations. I stared at these photos and the ones I saw on another site as well and came to the same conclusions. Damn clever disguise work. Most companies don't build fake panels that blend as well.

I hope you guys are right. I would be seriously disappointed if the headlights end up looking like that test mule, which looks decidedly un-L-finesse. They got it so right with the LF-A II IMO.

Biggest questions to be answered:
-Did Lotus really help with the suspension tuning?
-Will the carbon ceramic brakes be standard?
-How good will the sequential trans-axle be?
-Final HP numbers?!? 505? 570? 600?
-Will the chassis really be all CF?
-Will it really weigh in under 3000lbs?
-How will the Hybrid version compare to the V10?

I hope so!

-Will the carbon ceramic brakes be standard?
If its not standard on other supercars, I have a feeling Lexus will make them standard on the LF-A, so Lexus can toy with the competition.

-How good will the sequential trans-axle be?
Hopefully as good or even better then the F1 from Toyota

-Final HP numbers?!? 505? 570? 600?
570 hp would be nice, it be still quick as the supercars 2-2.5x the cost of the LF-A

-Will the chassis really be all CF?
I hope so, supposably the SLR was all CF and still weighed like 3600+ pounds

-Will it really weigh in under 3000lbs?
Probably anywhere between 3000 - 3800 pounds. Would be nice if it some how does way like 2700 pounds

-How will the Hybrid version compare to the V10?
Good question, honestly no clue. One thing for sure the CVT will screw with people's heads.

I just hope some of the people waiting for a Ferrari, say **** it and buy the LF-A.

I just can not wait to hear this 5.0 L V10 *drools*

One thing I forgot was this going too be a RWD or AWD?

I don't think the 2 are cross-shopped much.

Well, part of owning a Ferrari is the status. The other part is owning a raw sportcar. I'm not sure the LFA will be either.
