Official LF-A(II) thread (Will debut at Tokyo Auto Show, Lexus details Oct 20th, 8pm)

The car sounds simply amazing. That engine sounds like a monster, and I fully expect Lexus to use a sequential manual based on F1 technology. When this car is unveiled and then in dealerships, it will be a very big deal.
Also noticed at the beginning of the video was a Supra. Toyota likely was comparing the LF-A's performance to a higly modifiedSupra.

I would at least hope that it wasn't stock.

The Supra is a great car but if the LF-A was being tested against the Supra, it would be a little disheartening to say the least.

I really think a V10 is by far the best engine choice for that car (unless someone would like to stuff the Audi R10 LMP1 diesel engine in it - Now that's dreaming.) Now make it reliable and sexy, and you'll really eat away at Ferrari sales.

The LF-A probably be the most reliable and driveable supercar on the road for like 1/2 or even 1/3rd the cost

That white Supra is Toyota's "lead" car whenever they are testing on the 'Ring. You will see that car in one of the video's of the IS-F as well when it was being tested there. It disappears fairly quickly and then once the run is done it escorts the car back.
