Monitors as well and electronics that control them.

Good point. But those are low res, I'd rather something that is more clear especially for safety. But I suppose it wouldn't add too much weight. Where do they mount the monitors in the car though?

Well, have you seen a point-and-shoot 5-megapixel digital camera these days?

This I'm not sure about, but I suppose they can use HUD instead, projecting images directly to the windshield.

On the LF-S they projected the image into the center console display, which I thought took some getting used to IIRC. I would prefer it to be on the windshield...

I'm sorry but any of the posts you've made thus far have made absolutely no sense to me.

Loving the new headlight: LED headlight perhaps? like the ones on the new LS.

I didn't like the IS-F look in the pictures (maybe it'd grow on me in person) but the changes in LF-A surely are positive in my book. The subtle change in rear lights, the reduced height in rear radiator vents, the much wider bottom diffuser provide the car with a lowered and more aggressive stance than version 1.

The most improved areas on the LF-A IMHO are the changes in the headlight and front bumper. The aggrssive curves around the headlight, hood, bumper, along with enlarged front air dam are much better matched to the rear end than the boring design of version one.

What do ya think?

Cool pics! The LF-A is very improved in many aspects. I am glad they did not (horrors!) use the squared-off headlights that were in spy pics, and rendered in the first picture.

The rear has improved a lot, I think that is pretty much done. Only...where will they put the name? I guess right under the Circle-L, but there doesn't seem to be room (license plate).

I do find the side door elements to be pretty cool but you do lose the rear quarter window visibility a bit. That is not such a big deal perhaps from the inside but I think the cabin loses a bit of its capsule look from the outside, while gaining an interesting cue.

I also think slapping the F-badges on the side seems a bit much given the name LF-A. One site already went so far as to call it LF-AF which sounds like a laugh.

In the end though the car seems great, and based on the edits others made will look even better in different colors.

It looks 100x better than the first LF-A introduced. When it comes out i dont know if they will keep the LF-A name. It might be called GT-F or something of that nature.

My only concern on the LF-A is the same as with the IS - I find the front too 'snouty' and long.

I'm no chop expert, but here's an edit I did...

Those are carbon ceramic brakes. Gotta be. If this car can blend some really good sport with the usual Lexus luxury, I think Lexus has a chance.
