Are any of the networks broadcasting the Nurburgring 24 hour race? I couldn't seem to find any reference on SpeedTV, ESPN or Fox Sports but I could have missed it. How about on the web?

I actually can't figure out how broadcasting a 24-hour race ever worked. I mean, very few people can sit in front of the TV watching the same program for straight 24 hours...right?

Speed does a good job on LeMans, they cover it in chunks. I was thinking more along the lines of some intermediate coverage, standings at points in the race, a post race summary, that sort of thing. It doesn't make sense from a sponsor standpoint to cover much more than that.

Thumbs up

New spy video from the June 2007 session at Nurburgring.

The car looks so hot on the street in the very first clip, especially the profile view when it passes by. I really hope they use the same C-pillar/air inlet on the production model, it looks unique and integrated. That feature on the 2007 concept looks absolutely disgusting.

Great find! Can never get tired of that sweet V-10 scream.

BTW, it sounds to me that they were still using a traditional manual transmission at the time, weren't they?

I always love watching the 24h at night, because we so rarely see night races that aren't lit up like Daytona. It's fun to see the brake pads heating up, etc.

Looks great...

...btw, just wondering, based on the expectation that the LF-A will be the next Japanese supercar out, what about competitive effects/comparisons with the supposedly forthcoming NS-X successor? I wonder how closely Honda is watching the LF-A...

Meanwhile I'm loving the sound of the LF-A, btw remember the original LF-A vid? Still here:
