What is Tufenkian carpet? I'm sorry about my ignorant, but I'm out of the carpet 's world for a long time and you have mention it about 4 times in this thread...now I want to know..
Don't you think the Tufenkian carpet will added more weight to the sport car? If that's not the case then I would ask for a hardwood floor instead.... j/k
I would add the secret umbrella compartment inside the door just like the RR.

Tufenkian is a very successful high end carpet company. An 8 by 10 designer rug in silk and wool runs over $6,000.
Let's get back to marketing here.
The new IS has a way nicer interior that the 3 class or the C class. For the most part Lexus has much nicer interiors than their competition (though some folks feel Audi holds their own). Now let's extend the point to the LFA. Wouldn't you think we will see the pattern continue but this time vs Ferrari, Porsche and Lambo? I have no doubt.
And on the point a "a real driver's car", can you even get a 599 without smg?
I know some folks love a clutch and nothing else will do. That is not me anymore. I like tech stuff and smg (or whatever acronym described system is what we will get). And again, look at the 599 interiors, they are mighty deluxe looking.
Park assist is a cool feature if you have ever tried it (not the auto park thing on the LS).
My tenants have always liked my cars so no worries there (my customers are grad students and early stage professionals).
I am a tech person and wear gore tex rain gear with hoods (no umbrellas for me).
