Listening closely, however, it does sound like the LF-A lost its traction and skidded/slided its tail after sharply overtaking the slow hatch. It was probably more of the fault of the driver, who may have been too keen to get back to his/her original line IMO, but the car did appear to have lost traction at that moment.

If the driver was going full speed, he was flirting with the edge of traction anyway, so the tires had a little conversation with him to let him know what's going on. Pretty normal if you ask me.

And that nails it... The LF-A (or at least that one) has a V-10. Fan-freakin-tastic video!!!

sounds like a carrera gt's engine revs 2000-5500.

i think more like the carrera than an F430.

miniround you are the 100% correct. When I first watch the video at the top of this thread the LF-A sounded exactly like the carrera GT. Sounds just like the v-10 in the porsche. Both of those cars sound amazing to me.

I also thought that the c63 sounded even more evil than I had first imagined. I can't wait to see that car out and about.

LF-A FTW! If I were to rate the most impressive vehicles based solely on that video, it would look something like this...

LF-A
Alfa Romeo
C63
IS-F

You're probably right . If the driver really was pushing the car as lobux said, then the car was near or at the limits of traction, yet it still looked very well planted on the ground.

Yes, it does sound like a Porsche Carrera GT revving up to 8500 - 9000 rpm.

Ferrari F430 sounds very different from either of these cars.

LF-A is pure hotness. More like a street legal F1 racing car. I think it could quite possibly be the best Toyota product ever (beating out Supra MK4). I am waiting to hear about the electronic manual transmission Toyota (dual-clutch) produced for this car.

The engine sound alone is on par with the best out there.

That is incredible...I thought (and still do think) the IS-F engine and the throaty growl is very cool...the LF-A however is truly exotic and I hope a worthy supercar...

Hope they do for the LF-A what they did with the original LS and later efforts...aka put the world on notice.

The IS-F is also looking good, I hope it does well...

Good find!
That LF-A is going to be a beast!
I'd forego the IS-F appetizer and head straight for the main course on this one. Luckily/hopefully the LF-A is a ways out, as it will allow me the time to find a buyer for my kidney.
