The first car that caught our eye was the much talked about Lexus LF-A supercar from Toyota. In addition to showing a rendered final form, insiders quoted by Best Car say Toyota officials are looking to renaming the car to 'SS550'. The 'SS' standing for 'super sport' and '550' for the car's tremendous horsepower figure. Product planners are also keen on offering the six-figure car in 30 color schemes -- 12 of which would be standard, the other 18 optional.
Guys/Gals I am hearing VERY strong rumors the SUPRA concept, yes the SUPRA will debut at this show as well. From my understanding with a lot of car makers not showing up, Lexus/Toyota wants to OWN this show.
I believe they will

I want to see mazda recreate a proper RX7, not the soft and torqueless RX8. It was a flop for mazda to follow up its amazing and loved RX7 with the shabby RX8.
The RX8 needed turbos to be a real contender. Even when performance is boosted you just end up having to rebuild the rotary faster than usual

The Toyota/Subaru is very, very nice looking. If they can carry that through to production they should be able to sell on style alone.
The Scion reminds me of a PT Cruiser convertible. Not really innovative or to my liking.
