LF-A Predictions (your votes!)
It's been a long buildup till now, but if press reports are accurate, the LF-A has been approved for production and will premiere at this year's Tokyo Motor Show. The press days for this show are scheduled for October 21-22, 2009, which as of this posting is 60 days from today. What's interesting is that despite many press reports, we actually still have little concrete information about this vehicle. However, word is that the final production form was previewed in the LF-A Crystallised Wind concept, as part of this year's Milan L-finesse design exhibition. Just for fun, here we can make educated guesses about the final LF-A stats. Let's see who predicts the final result most accurately!
LF-A Crystallised Wind
LF-A Nurburgring Racer
LF-A II Roadster
LF-A II Concept
LF-A I Concept

Two months is gonna go by so fast. I'm sure in October Club Lexus will so much traffic it won't be funny. I can't wait. Looking at the LF-A roadster above made me think maybe this is the successor to the SC. Who knows? Only Lexus will tell us that answer, we just have to wait and see...

A+ thread
The name is the toughest..... might end up being GT-F but I voted
LFA
551-555hp (say 557ps
0-60 3.3 or less (rated at 3.3, will gladly do it in 3.1)
$175-$220k in the US of A

Maybe the announced Lexus CT has slightly upped the chances for a Lexus GT, but then again they trademarked LFA. Very interesting to see the results so far, looks like each option save 'name: other' and 'over $500K' have been taken.

Our very own Club Lexus Editor Flipside909 has confirmed the official name will be LF A with no hyphen. My first thoughts are where is the creativity and consistency in the naming of this vehicle? All of the Lexus models have a two letter followed by a three digit number designation scheme with the exception of the IS F. I do see LF (which is used for prototypes and stands for Luxury Future or is it Lexus Future?) then followed by an A. What does the A stand for and shouldn't it be F since it's part of the high performance line? The name of this vehicle is just as important as the vehicle itself and I can't believe Lexus isn't being creative or being consistent in naming this awesome vehicle...
