I am just glad this car is coming, I still feel like this is a dream .

Anything beyond this would honestly be gravy/icing on the cake, like if they make over 500 units, or if the price is below 250K USD, or if they use that V10 in a GS-F model.

We have scuds/16Ms sitting on the show rooms. CGTs can be had in the low 300s/high 200s. And these are Ferraris and Porsche's

Ya they might sell out in the beginning, but as with the cars I previously mentioned you'll find them cheaper a few years down the line

LFA at 350K-375K is too high. It will not compete w/Ferrari & Lambo.
LFA has to be around 200K-275K to compete. Well it might go for 350K since limited 500 units. That is very high for this Lexus.

First off let me say I sell for a Lexus dealership. We are typically the LAST to know anything unless we find the information elsewhere. That said, a rep from Lexus was in today and said the LF-A would begin production at the end of the year. Price was to be $365k and only 150 were going to be built for the US. They have not yet determined how they will be distributed. We'll know in a few months the accuracy of this info.

Welcome to CL and thanks for the information! Sounds plausible from the other reports thus far. 150 though is supposedly less than the 165 rumored for Japan, but still close. And with such limited production, a price on the higher side of the $250-$400K frame seems likely.

And yes, your experience is like that of other Lexus dealer sources I've talked to, it's the dealers that are the last to know unless they get the info elsewhere.

If you are a serious buyer for the LFA it is going to be in the high 300’s Lexus wants to speak with you ASAP. We were just told to contact our inquiries for the LFA and sort out the dreamers from the buyers. Lexus is going to contact you directly and move forward with production. If you want one of the limited vehicles contact me directly sstewart@westsidelexus.com.
Also from a Lexus European twitter feed, they said that the LF-A will cost more than €1 million due to all the import taxes.

More than 1 Million Euros? In what country? I simply cannot imagine the LF A costing that much, no matter which country we're talking about. For some reason, these numbers make me suspicious. The speculated price on the LF A continues to skyrocket everyday.

I will not make any judgements until I see final pricing directly from Toyota.

In Denmark. From the head of Lexus GB public relations:

After doing some research, it seems in Denmark other imported cars are ridiculously expensive as well, so the LF A is not alone here. Base price for the LS600hL in Denmark is over 300K Euros.

I did not know this about Denmark, but comparitively speaking, the LF A costing over 1 million Euros would not be that ridiculous then.

To give a bit more comparison, a 911 GT2 in Denmark costs roughly 550K Euros.

Unfortunately, this still does not give us a good idea of what pricing will be like in North America.

Just going on the LS600hL price and if the LFA is in fact over 1mil euro then you are looking at 3 times the price of a LS600hL. The calculations are the same here in Japan, so that only leads me to believe that it will be 3 times the price of a LS600hL in America, or over $300K.

Good point. If this ratio relatively speaking applies to North America, then in the US the LF A should cost between 300-400K. That would be cheaper than the price of the Carrera GT when it came out.

Pricing it close to 400K would be pushing it IMO, and I think if it's under 350K that would be better, but we shall see.

Cars also are three times the cost in China.

My uncle bought a Phaeton for 300k. Whats the difference? If LFA is going to be high 300's, then of course the final price would be 1million Euros.
