On youtube i was doing my weekly search for new LF-A info when a vid called 'Supercar' that was only posted yesterday caught my attention. A clever guy who posted a comment of the movie noticed it actually was the LF-A because of its typical rear view mirrors, otherwise it would have never come up in my search list. It aint of very high quality but it gives a good impression.

At 22 seconds you get quite a good look at the mirrors, steering wheel and airco vents. The driver is wearing a helmet with the Nürburgring logo and probably a passenger next to him, which is quite intriguing. Obviously he is having a good time
The production type makes a very different raw sound compared to the Nürburgring 24h racer...not sure he is revving it to the redline or not.

Doesn't sound like the car was being pushed to the limit. Still it's nice to see an in-car footage of a (near-)production-spec LF-A.

My guess is that may have been a Toyota/Lexus employee actually driving the car in the video.

The engine sound certainly was different than the race LF-As, but no different than the spy videos of the production car we have seen in the past few months. The spy videos posted by Worldcarfans as well as Automotorundsport have the same engine sound basically, as well as this most recent video of the white LF A with fully exposed headlights and tails.

Compared to the race LF-As, the production car's engine sounds more angry and very raspy, and as you reach near redline the engine starts to scream. Rather unique engine sound from a V10.
