The unpainted top is is not the look I am after.

Painting the window frame, roof and rear pillars provides a vert like look.

I have a question to the LFA purchasers, if you have the chance are you going to just purchase the regular LFA or are any of you looking into the Nurburgring edition? I'm not sure if there is much of an appeal to any of you with that car, but me personally if i was in the position, would look to purchase that version. My other question is, is it any more expensive? I've read about it but I figured some inside information could be found out here with some actual buyers.

Anyone pay any attention to the VLN races at the nurburgring? http://vln.de The LFA is racing again this weekend. So far it's placed first in it's class, SP8, in each race so far this year. First race it placed 24th overall. This last race it placed 17th overall. Now today there is another race. I'm looking forward to following it on twitter at http://twitter.com/lexus_eu they usually cover the race with text. Pretty updated. There were concerns the LFA wouldn't be able to race because of the Volcanic activity, but they confirmed that at least 1 LFA will race, alongside an IS-F. Check out gazoo racing as well, they usually have some good stuff.

A lot of us followed the 24 Hours of Nurburgring pretty closely last year, pretty exciting, although they were still using it for training purposes, I hope they go more all-out this time around. Good news so far in the VLN 4-hour races...

Welcome to ClubLexus by the way!

Hey, thanks for the welcoming. I've followed the LFA since it first showed it's face at the auto shows back in 2002? I forget how long ago it was but I've paid a lot of attention to this car. I've recently found Club Lexus so i decided to join.

Anyway on about the LFA race car. It qualified 25th overall for the upcoming race which takes place later today at the Nurburgring. The drivers were Hiromu Naruse and Takayuki Kino****a. The IS-F qualified back in 72nd, it's drivers were Peter Lyon, Hideshi Matsusada, Herwig Daenens and Kazunori Yamauchi; the creator of Gran Turismo.

I am not looking to purchase this package. I prefer the clean lines of the car without the fixed spoiler when the car is not moving.
My session with Lexus Canada is on May 7th, so I can ask about the pricing if no one here can provide it.

One of my favorite colors too, but I may ended up getting a matte black. I think white interior would go well with black ext, but I also like red one.

FYI, the lexusenthusiast website mentioned earlier has a picture of the LFA salon at the big Tokyo dealership.

They have one of the LFA prototypes, a very nice model car, painted scale model bodies in the various colors and a rack of interior materials.

That is quite a set up considering just one customer gets to specify their car at the dealership. Clearly a halo thing.
