It is more like haters do not want LFA to succeed and keep using brand image to say "LFA can't be better".
Haters gunna hate.

but yea im kinda getting tired of how everyone goes "in the end its still a toyota/lexus"..

I created a new thread about the teaser video of LFA SportAuto super test where they will lap LFA around the Nurburgring track. They have some awesome footage inside and outside as a red LFA is being lapped around the Nurburgring. Check it out.

I don't know exactly when they will post the results up. I also saw the Ferrari 458 Italia Nurburgring lap time and it is disappointing and not even as fast as the F430 Scuderia at 7:38. Enzo is even farther away with a lap time of 7:26.

They only said the R8 was better because on paper they performed almost the same, while the R8 being a lot cheaper, same reason they all love the GTR because of its bang for your buck

P.S. Don't think of Carolla as some one who only appreciates cars like Ferrari, Audi and Lamborghini, he is an avid enthusiasts of Datsuns

That is the thing. It may apply to straight line acceleration uptil 60 mph that they are close at mid-3 seconds mark. That is where it ends. Uptill 100, 150 or 200 mph, LFA will be A LOT more quicker.

Around a race track, LFA is more than substantially quicker and like Chris Harris said, the LFA V10 throttle response is only matched by Porsche Carrera GT.

Well for such an avid enthusiast, he's not really doing his homework before talking down a quality product. No, he doesn't need to be on ClubLexus every day and know as much as us but all of the information he needs to make a fair judgement on a car is at the tip of his fingers.

I wonder when this review will be complete! It's a good showdown, but if the Italia can 'only' muster a 7:38- the LFA spanks that easily I'm sure. The SLS couldn't even break 7:30 I heard. I donno but if lap times are anything to go by I'd say the LFA is worth every penny. 500 examples is less than the Carrera GT, and costs less, and is the same allotment as the Enzo, and MUCH less than that.

Yeah, I really hope LFA turns in some mind blowing lap times. Keeping my fingers crossed.

I think the September edition of SportAuto will have the super test. It may have already hit the news stand. I will check out book stores in the next few days to see if the september magazine is there now.

If the 458 can "only" muster a 7:38, I'm more worried than optimistic for the LFA. Hope it beats it, but I'd rather be a pessimist and not expect it to.

I'm curious, is Gengar and 07grIS350 the only ones on this forum that is actually going through the process of purchasing the LFA?
