Oh, and I think I can finally update my 2-year-old sig now.
Once you receive it, you will have to create a special thread for yourself in which you will share with us periodic updates of how the car is breaking in and then once you break in and ready to rip up to 9500 rpm, write a detailed review on it.

Deal????

Awesome comparo from C&D. Shows us what the LFA is really about. Hopefully we can expect them to post some more data points for the LFA in a track test too.

What color combo did you get anyway Gengar? And is there anyone else on these forums that received an allocation?

Apparently, Lexus Canada is working on possible LFA plant tour, driving lessons for the buyers.

That is great. Hopefully National Geographic does a special on the LFA plant and production process.

That'd be awesome. The LFAs are hand built and the plant is sure to be something to behold. Wonder why it's only for the Canadians though.

I got the words via Lexus Canada rep. While it's not a sure thing, I believe US customers would be offerred the tour as well.
What do you guys think about their idea for driving lessons in LFA's?

I think you should be able to bring a guest and I call dibs

07grIS350 & Gengar, I'm very excited for you!

I'm curious why none of the other buyers have come out to share their purchases.

of course it's great to have driving classes on the lfa. you get m5/m6 and you get m school free as well so you really know what the machines are capable and how to drive (improve yourself as a driver). it would be useless if you get the lfa and not able to drive it "correctly"

The LFA is made in Japan am I correct? So if this is true, they fly you to Japan? Or would they let you take care of that? Maybe they'll have the option of a seat fitting, or let you see your LFA be built? That'd be sweet.

seat fitting? i don't know they have custom seat size/shape

if they do do the driving lesson, i am not surprised if they take care of meals / hotels, and people get their own tickets. i think for the price of the car, that's reasonable. same thing with the m school anyway
