It should win, It needs to win, it deserves to win. The 599 is a nice car, but it's big and heavy. The LFA is much better than that at least in terms of driving precision. I wanna see the production version with a low curb weight go against some of the other cars it's been tested against, like the 458, the SuperLeggera, the SLS etc.

Sorry if this is a repost:
Looks like these 2 cars sit a little lower, and new color combo.

What's great is that all 3 LFA's in the below Video, display all 3 different OEM BBS Forged Aluminum wheel color options..
1) “Buff Polished Finish”
2) “Light Premium Metallic Coating”
3) “Dark Premium Metallic Coating”

Agreed.
The Japanese model LFA prototypes are definitely sitting lower than the American model, which has a substantial gap in the fenders. I brought this observation up earlier as well.
Yes, absolutely it deserves to win. I was just finding the extremities very amusing.
I also hope the LFA that gets compared to 458 Italia is a full production model with the proper tires.
Do you have any confirmations that the production LFA will weigh less than the prototypes??

Not my first choice either (like if I get to buy 2 LFAs I may then configure the second car in this color ). I prefer a darker tan, and only on the seats. On the dash and the steering wheel it's too much for me.

I am really excited about looking for an American (since American publications would be far more impartial and more fair) comparison versus the 458 Italia of LFA.
If you read between the lines, Car And driver hinted and nicely set up a 458 Italia vs LFA comparo in the future.
However, I am really hoping it will not happen till the full production models are launched so that it is conducted on a final production model.

Best LFA color ever (with red a close second).
I would not call it "domination". As a matter of fact, 458 Italia lost to Porsche 911 Turbo S. Though, it was faster around the race track, but the Turbo S was quicker in a straight line.
I firmly believe in full production trim with proper tires on, LFA will be a toss-up with 458 Italia where LFA will be marginally quicker around the race track while 458 Italia will be marginally quicker in a straight line (most likey 0.2 - 0.3 seconds to the 1/4 mile and around 0.4 - 0.5 seconds in 0 - 150 mph). Since LFA is much more mechanical, raw and driver-oriented with more luxury, it has a good chance of taking the "emotion" part.

With aftermarket wheels, LFA is wearing a set of 'Michelin' tires. I wonder if they are PS2??

There's bigger pictures in another thread on here. Did anyone read the 7tune article? Toyota was being secretive about the LFA! Why? Also the writer said that he thinks they could be tire or suspension testing since the cars were weaving back and forth on the main straight at more than 250kmh. They shooed away photographers and told the guy not to reveal the test drivers! Wonder what's going on. Another thing that caught my interest was him saying that it's no secret that Lexus is going to 'chase Nissan' in GT1.
