Maybe we need a separate LFA spotting thread now that they are hitting the streets. This yellow one is most likely a pre-production press car though, I have no idea, I don't pay super close attention to them like some of you guys do.

Very nice, thanks for sharing. The Pearl Blue looks better and better to me every time I see it, which is a quite fortunate thing, I suppose.

Based on the interior, the Pearl Blue LFA in these pictures looks like the same one in the videos shared by Joe Z here: https://www.clublexus.com/forums/6102309-post63.html I wonder if it is the same as the blue LFA we saw in videos at Fuji Speedway - in the Fuji videos, it had recaro seats, not the whitish ones in the magazine here and in the videos Joe Z shared.

Note that the black/brown combination interior is on the yellow car. It does look great (is that saddle tan on the leather?), although I prefer not to see two-tone interiors when I'm in the car.

Found these on another forum. Apologize if they were already posted somewhere in here.

The only thing sexier than a production Lexus LF-A is a beat up, dented, patched, taped and aggressively raced Lexus LF-A!!!

Here:

Here is another one:

Cheers.

Thanks so much, LickSauce for the scans. That is actually a British magazine. I did notice the conversions from km to miles are innaccurate in many cases where rounding is done in some cases and not in others.

LFA's 0 - 60 mph are very impressive and also the 1000 meter is great since SLS AMG, LFA, 458 Italia and Turbo S are very close at the 1000 meter mark (0.7 miles) within a couple of cars of each other, but what happened at the 1/4 mile mark? It was 0.5 seconds faster than GTR and SLS AMG at the 0-60 mph mark.

LFA is geared for best acceleration from 80 - 170 mph.

However, 1/4 mile does not make any sense since both LFA and SLS AMG have consistently done 125 mph in 11.4 - 11.8 seconds (AutoZeitung, C&D, Automobile mag etc.). The trap speed is there as well. However, the 1/4 mile time is way too low for the trap speed. That means RWD cars had severe traction issues on that surface.

The 458 Italia comes with super sticky Michelin Pilot PS2 so it seems to have better traction.

I would say since LFA is gaining speed very fast, but not covering the distance fast enough, it has to be the tires not having proper traction.

Wow, LFA beat the GTR in 0-60 in that magazine. That is a very interesting result. In comparison, 1/4 mile times do seem off and strange.

It's like that in every Euro magazine. Doesn't matter which one it is, GTR and LFA seem to be 'slow' compared to the rest. I guess they didn't use launch control.
