Here is a video of Scott Pruett doing a lap in an LFA at the Homestead race track in Miami:

Here is some footage of the two LFAs in what looks like Cali, probably getting prepped for the track event that will happen there

You can see the dazzling underbody in that video.
Here is another video of the same two LFAs in the garage, and you get to see the rear hatch open, a bit of the awesome detailing of the rims:

The "Cali plates" belong to Lexus Corp USA..
They need to be on there when driven on the streets.

These videos were shot inside a "shop" just outside Homestead Motorsports Speedway, in Miami...
Both LFA's were driven to that shop.
It took place the Tuesday (afternoon/evening time), which was the day before the Media Event that took place on Wednesday at the Speedway...
It's not really Top Secret info either..

Rare Up Close Video of 2 Lexus LF-A getting some new fresh rubber just outside Homestead Motorsports Speedway. This car is coming out in a 1 1/2 years, March 2011. They have been down here in Miami for a week for the press, where they were taken around the track by the same driver of Scott Pruett's Racing Team who races for Lexus. Needless to say, I'm sure there were many people who left the track with dirty underwear after they were all whisked around in these 2 beasts with over 550 HP. .
The Lexus Tech opened up the trunk lid which exposed a couple of compartments under the screen. One compartment which I saw, shows where the battery is housed. I also noticed a glass window between this trunk area and the cockpit of the car, which shows that there is really no real trunk space whatsoever.
Regards,
Joe Z

At Homestead, they removed the DST plates and put the plastic "Lexus" plates (same one used on auto show cars) on the LFA's we drove for picture purposes.

Lexus puts on the CA DST 27202 plates on their cars when they're being driven onto public streets. The DST plates are plates designated by CA DMV for auto distributors/manufacturers to use on cars with no vins or prototypes for testing and eval.
At Homestead, they removed the DST plates and put the plastic "Lexus" plates (same one used on auto show cars) on the LFA's we drove for picture purposes.

So here are a few more interesting tidbits:
- the car does have launch control
- apparently, the claimed 3.6 seconds 0-60 mph time from Lexus was achieved without using the car's launch control (it looks like Toyota is being coy about the car's true performance potential)
- at 202 mph, the LFA generates over 552 pounds of downforce
- the engine doesn't have direct injection; Toyota could have added it, but felt it wasn't needed, partly because F1 engines don't use direct injection
