I really think the car is intended to play in its own space.

? The LFA is still 8 months away from production, and production will be capped at 20 vehicles a month.Lexus has given a few pre-production LFAs for different publications to do previews and first tests. Full-out comparisons likely won't come until next year, or end of the year at the earliest.
I want to see 458 and GT-R comparisons just to silence the critics and the haters, even though neither of those cars are in the same class as the LFA.

Each of these supercars are unique in their own special way, I think depending on the criteria one could make any of them win a comparison, it just seems more subjective to me than a clearly defined segment, say family cars.

I posted this on another thread with much less traffic than here, so here goes again, just looking for more feedback:
I was told today by my Lexus dealer that I can purchase one LFA from the 10 units allocated for Canada. One thing that does not sound 100% right to me was a $13000 "special" freight charge. Has any one heard of it? I wonder if they are planning to bring the car by airplane or something like that.

i guess what you want to do is just to make sure with lexus corp that if the price is an add-on or inclusion already (since some others haven't heard about it)

i received information from a friend who is in the exotic market, and he said the 13k sounds about right for air freight. that's about how much he paid to have his exotic shipped from europe (using 747). he thinks that's how the lfa will be shipped over. US might be a bit less, but more or less the same.
