I'm glad I was able to stumble upon the pictures to be able to share them

This was some sort of Japanese press event at this Yamaha test track. The video of the red LFA posted in this thread is probably from the same event.
There could be more pictures and/or videos coming out from this event, so hopefully we get to see more.

But seriously 350K?no doubt its sick but cant justify paying 350k for a Toyota...its a 1 off yes ....but could they not bring something out comparable to the GT-R?around the 100K price tag...man for 350K ...could buy a GT-R+ZR1+Gallardo....just makes no sense..but on the flip side if you have 350K....to spend on a car..you probably have all these other cars already so I guess its more about being exclusive then looking at the price tag.

The pricing argument has been thoroughly hashed out, and suffice to say, some will accept it, some won't...there really isn't much changing minds on this issue. Other than I will add, the $350K is for a hand-built, carbon fiber supercar, much of the expense going to the cost of the exotic construction. No one is being forced to pay for this car, it's a pure indulgence. And it will make no monetary profit for Lexus. Publicity-wise, that's a different story.
Now back to the subject of the car itself...without going into circular debate, there are lots of areas to talk about...

Hey folks, I got back this weekend after a business trip and had several phone messages from various Lexus parties informing me I'd received an LFA allocation (I guess I really should start forwarding calls from my domestic cell to my work cell when I'm overseas), so it looks like I was in the second wave of notifications. Not sure I would have gotten one before they upped the US to 250 units, but I'm happy either way.
I also got invited to the May 4th event at autobahn, and will try to make it although I'm currently scheduled to be out west at the time.
