Lexus F-Sport Driving Event Offers Rides in LFA Supercar
Posted Today 10:00 AM by Steve Diehlman
Want to test out the entire Lexus F-Sport line, and possibly score a ride in the vaulted LFA Supercar? Head to Lexus' F-Sport driving event, which will take place November 12 at the Auto Club Speedway in Fontana, California.
Attendees will have a chance at driving the entire F-Sport line, which includes not only the burly IS F sport sedan, but IS, IS C, and GS models fitted with F-Sport performance parts. If that's not enough, all guests are eligible to win a hot lap in the all-new LFA, piloted by famed race driver Scott Pruett.
Those interested in attending can register at LexusF-Event.com; those who intend to drive the F-sport range must be 18 or older and carry a valid U.S. driver's license. The event runs from noon until 6 p.m, but the last available session begins at 4:45 p.m...

Damn. It's a ten-hour flight away for me. But uhm... a chance to win a hot lap? That sounds a bit... ****ty. I mean, at a Dodge event we had here everyone could have a hot lap in a Hennessey Venom Viper.

It was the instructor who basically owns one of the best performance driving schools in Quebec... I don't know who Scott Pruett is, so I can't compare.

I was busy that week and never made it around to posting in that thread.
I do like it and appreciate it considering it is the first Japanese supercar from one of my favorite companys. However, I'm not blown away by it either. Until I see comparison tests and more data, I think its just as good as current offerings (with a higher price tag), but not better.
With that said, until I can afford one, I certainly wouldnt mind at least experiencing it.
