That's my plan. This car is bound to achieve classic status in a few decades.

I don't think it will spark interest in the SC but I sure would like to take some pics of one with my SC or play around on the highway ha ha. By time the LF-A comes out, my SC will be ready.

You guys have to see the LFA in person to appreciate its look, feel, and peformance. In my opinion, it's really worth $300K. It's priced on performance, look, reliability, and the most is rarity. The Toyota Rep. that I spoke to at Sema Show said there'll be less than 150 will be imported in the US. When a person can buy a car that's a few hundred grands, he just doesn't look at the name only, he wants something rare. There're a lot of exotic cars that are not very popular to the public, but there's still a niche for the kind of people that'll buy it. You can check this out to see its beauty: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2JpmZoZEIiI.

Anyway, LFA is Lexus For Asian..JK.

With the LF-A's looks and styling ques, It almost seems like the 1st gen Lexus SC and the MkIV Supra got together, had a baby and out popped the LF-A. So if people see Lexus/Toyota's past history in terms of styling ques in it's cars, I can definitely see Jerry's point in people looking at the SC out of pure interest to see where the LF-A's genetic roots originated from.

Not trying to pick a fight, just saying that's the way they've always done it.
I know that's the way they always did it. But I am envisaging they should go the same way that BMW has and start making up the numbers to reflect relative power, and take advantage of the marketing value of that.

Good one. LFA could stand for Lexus For Americans or Lexus For All...

The LFA is an awesome Super Car! I can certainly see why it is priced where it is. Very rare, each one built almost custom, and definitely to order. I believe Toyota/Lexus is hand selecting the prospective owners for maximum visibility. One thing the LFA seems to have definitely accomplished is Super Car performance, but with Lexus refinement and luxury. There is probably no other Sports car built that has accomplished this marriage between luxury and performance as well as Toyota has with the LFA. Kudos to Toyota/Lexus!

When I first saw its pics, I definitely drooled....I love the look,,,,inside and out.

Regarding your quastion on its impacting the SC, I do not think it will. The SC has made its own mark on its own. It is a hell of a marriage between luxury and sport, just not supercar status.

I did find it most interesting that the LFA has a hood venting set up and style that is nearly identical to the custom one I have built for my SC project. Like minds think alike.... BYW, I did not copy the LFA....I did mine on my own....Well before the pics of the new LFA came out.
