Hey everyone,
I'll be going to the press days at the LA Auto Show this week and as such I'll have access to a few VIPs in the Lexus Exhibit. I will be doing video interviews to go up on my youtube channel within the week (maybe even same day).
So if anyone here has some questions about the LF-A that they want answered post them here and I'll try to get the information you're looking for.
Post your questions here or you can send them to my email andy at motorworldhype.com
if you email me questions please make sure to include your user name here on club lexus or you can just leave your first name and mention that you are from clublexus.com.
Thanks!

Thanks for your offer Andy.
The car has really splendid detailing.
I have not seen a shot of the gas filler door opened.
Maybe it has a carbon fiber filler cap?
Please have a look if you can.

I want to know if I can fit a week's worth of groceries in the trunk. Some numbers on the towing capacity and if it can run on 89 octane gas would be nice too. Just in case, you know.

Can you fit a weeks worth of groceries? No, but if you eat canned goods or TV dinners, there is plenty for 2 weeks worth.
Towing capacity, nada.
91 octane only. High compression 12:1.
Here's the cargo compartment in the rear. Pics taken at the LFA Event in Miami and Fontana:
Cargo area with tonneau cover:

Cargo area opened up. Big enough for 2 small duffles. This is the only Lexus that cannot fit one set of golf clubs. (Black box with wiring is a data recorder that TMC had installed in both LFA's to gather data of course):

I would like them to turn on the headlights so you can take a picture of both Low beam and High beam cutoff. Take a Pic of DRL's and turn signals activated too.
Find out what the foglight button does on the lighting switch (as i have not seen forward fog lights) unless its for only the rear fog.
Tell us how the seat control switches work.
Thank you (:

There are no foglamps on the LFA.
Here are a couple pics of the headlamps on. There are no DRL's but because these are pre-production hand built prototypes, that may change by the time the production models come.

This is my IS F next to the LFA:

Seat controls:
![](http://www.flipside909.com/gallery/albums/102109lfa/IMG_9189.jpg)
These are very easy to operate as the controls are placed very much like the seat itself. From L-R: The black numbered wheel controls the seat heater.
The first metal plate controls the seat cushion height. You pull or push up or down on the front or rear section of the control. The 2nd plate is the seatback you can either pull up to bring the seat up or push down to recline. The last is for lumbar support. The seat control is stylish as well as functional.

the pics are pretty cool. There are shots there that magazines just will not show. Cool to know that a car of this caliber can still hold something .

Sorry for the late update. Finals and all!
Anyhow if you've visted the auto show by now you know that the LF-A is on a huge rotating cambered pedistal so opening/closing/getting in the car was out of the question so I wasn't able to open the gas cap or anything like that.
It seems like all the other questions here were already answered by flipside (thank you)
I just tried to come up with my own questions on the fly which I put together in a video interview.
